META-FLUSOL contains methocarbamol (a guaifenesin carbamate derivative) which induces muscle relaxation without altering tone. It is long lasting and works efficiently against muscle cramps. In our formula, we have also included flumetasone, which is a glucocorticoid that acts as an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic. Methocarbamol and flumetasone, a couple of drugs chosen to treat problems of the musculoskeletal system, are extremely useful in healing newly born cows that suffered from muscular lesions during calving. In horses, this product has been used to treat tetanus, hemoglobinopathy (Monday morning sickness), muscle trauma, bursitis, synovitis and fibrosis. In dogs and cats, this product has been used to treat intervertebral disc disorder, compression myelitis, spinal lesions, muscle spasms after surgery, myositis and bursitis.
